Hiring Events
Connecting Businesses and Job Seekers in our Community
From large-scale community job fairs to exclusive hiring events on the WorkSource Spokane Campus, we partner with businesses, community partners, and media to provide many opportunities that position job seekers to find their next great company and businesses to find their next great hire.
Our premiere hiring event and the largest job fair in the region with 1,200+ job seekers and 120+ employers, the annual NonStop Local KHQ/WorkSource Job Fair is a community-wide event.
Partners include NonStop Local KHQ, WorkSource Spokane, Talent Solutions by WorkSource Spokane, and Spokane Workforce Council.
Held each October in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Access Spokane Job Fair allows businesses to open their recruiting efforts to the diverse talent in our area. The event also provides access to community resources and educational opportunities.
Partners include WorkSource Spokane, Spokane County, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Spokane Workforce Council.
Providers across the WorkSource Spokane Campus offer various hiring events that provide job seekers access to weekly job search activities. Businesses have the option to participate in combined or tailored events to promote their positions.
Businesses that partner with our exclusive hiring events find great success because of the immediate connection to the job seekers served by the WorkSource Spokane Campus.
Virtual Job Fairs
COVID-19 has caused us to postpone or cancel many of our regularly-scheduled hiring and networking events. In an effort to help job seekers and businesses that are still hiring connect with one another, we are offering periodical Virtual Job Fairs for the community.
KHQ/WorkSource Job Fair
Each May, the SWC partners with KHQ and WorkSource Spokane to host the area’s largest job fair.
Access Spokane Job Fair
Every October, the SWC partners with WorkSource Spokane, Spokane County, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to offer the annual Access Spokane Job Fair, a hiring, resource, and education event held in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Next Gen Job Fair
We introduced the Next Gen Job Fair in 2016 as an event focused on helping teens and young adults connect with employers for their first job. We partner with the Next Generation Zone and Spokane Transit Authority to put on this annual event.
