Access Spokane Job Fair

An Annual Event in Celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

Each year in October, the Spokane Workforce Council, WorkSource Spokane, Spokane County, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation partner to offer the Access Spokane Job Fair, a hiring, resource, and education event held in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The event is designed to bring together job candidates, employers, service providers, educators, and students for employment opportunities, assistive technology demonstrations, and resources for individuals and veterans with disabilities.

The year's job and resource fair will take place on October 12, 2021 at the Centennial by Davenport Hotels, time TBD.

Registration for the event will be available in August 2021.

The WorkSource Talent Solutions Team offered a short training for employers interested in attending the event and/or hiring people with disabilities. Guest speakers included experts from Spokane County, Skils’kin, DSHS, and WorkSource.

Attend a free prep session and learn how to ensure a more successful and rewarding job fair experience! Also get help on your résumé from professional career coaches. 

Attend one of the two sessions:

  • Monday, September 23: 2-3:30 pm*
  • Friday, September 27: 10-11:30 am

Sessions will be held at WorkSource Spokane: 130 S Arthur Street, Spokane, WA 99202

Q: How much does the event cost?
A: The event is free!

Q: Do I have to register for the event?
A: No, pre-registration is not required for job seekers.

Q: I don’t have a disability (or I don’t want to disclose my disability), but I’m looking for a job. Can I come?
A: Yes! Although the focus of the event is on helping connect job seekers with disabilities with local employers,  this event is open to any and all job seekers. 

Q: I have accessibility needs. What should I do?
A: This event is wheelchair accessible, and ASL interpreters will be onsite. WorkSource staff in dark blue shirts will be posted throughout the event to answer questions and help anyone who needs assistance. If you have other accessibility questions, please call (509) 532-3120. TTY 711.
