Spokane, WA — The Spokane Workforce Council (SWC) is pleased to announce the selection of Kevin Williams as its new Chief Executive Officer. A seasoned workforce development leader with deep roots in the Spokane community, Williams brings extensive experience in strategic operations, partnership development, and data-driven system transformation.
Williams steps into the CEO role after serving as Division Executive of System Advancement for SWC, where he oversaw operations across the region’s workforce development system, including WorkSource Spokane, the Next Generation Zone, and multiple connection sites serving more than 8,000 individuals annually. In this role, he helped guide a $7–10 million system, strengthened partnerships with business and community stakeholders, and advanced innovative service delivery models to better meet the needs of job seekers and employers.

A 24-year United States Air Force veteran, Williams brings a disciplined, mission-focused leadership style and a strong commitment to public service.
As CEO, Williams will focus on strengthening employer partnerships, expanding talent pipeline strategies, and enhancing the workforce system’s ability to respond to the evolving needs of Spokane County’s economy.
“I am honored to serve as CEO of the Spokane Workforce Council,” said Williams. “This organization plays a critical role in connecting individuals to opportunity and supporting the success of our regional economy. I look forward to working alongside our board, staff, and partners to build a more inclusive, responsive, and impactful workforce system.”
